The Virginia Early Childhood Foundation is assisting the Virginia Department of Education to administer the funds made available through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). This site is designed to empower childcare providers in Virginia with technical assistance and resources to make smart decisions about the uses of the ARPA funds. This is an opportunity to invest in the future of child care in Virginia. Please check back often, as we will be adding content regularly.

NEW RESOURCES:

Register to speak to a FREE business coach. Providers who participate in coaching sessions are NOW eligible to receive a certificate for annual training hours required by licensing.

Family Day Home providers and small centers (serve 50 or fewer children per day) can text “WONDER” to 33777 to learn about a free subscription to Wonderschool, an online software that includes financial recording keeping tools and more.
