Ready Regions Grant Opportunity
A statewide network of Ready Regions will be established to ensure equitable opportunities for all families with young children to thrive. Ready Regions will be Virginia’s on-the-ground early childhood systems builders responsible for coordination and integration of essential services and resources starting with a focus on early childhood care and education (ECCE).
Timeline:
- 8/18/21: Letter of Intent (LOI) Released
- 8/25/21: LOI Informational Webinar at noon (Watch Recording Now)
- 9/10/21: LOI Due by 5pm
- 9/27/21: Request for Proposals for Full Applications Released (selected communities will be invited to submit full applications based on review of LOI)
- 11/30/21: Full Applications due by 5pm
- 12/17/21: Grant Awards Announced
- January 2022: Grants Begin
